The Xerox WorkCentre C2424 is an array of office equipment in a single device. It provides printing, scanning, and copying functions all in a fairly compact design that is also very expandable for the future. Its price is affordable, and Xerox C2424 ink is inexpensive as well, saving buyers money on printer ink.

There are three models available. The C2424DN is the base model with automatic duplexing and networking built in. The C2424DP adds more memory, extra paper capacity and a 600 dpi scanning unit as opposed to 300 dpi. The C2424DX includes all of the above and adds extra software, such as Omnipage Pro and PaperPort for managing digital documents.

Print speed is fast, at around 24 pages per minute for both black and color printer ink. With a first page out time in as little as 6 seconds, there will be less waiting on print jobs. A standard 40 GB hard drive makes storing and managing documents very easy, and the 50-sheet automatic document feeder makes scanning multiple pages quick and easy.

As a solid ink printer, the C2424 uses ink sticks instead of cartridges. Xerox C2424 ink sticks have the advantage of being easier to replace and also producing less waste than traditional cartridges. This makes solid ink printing more environmentally-conscious as well. WorkCentre C2424 ink is very inexpensive, and the large capacities of WorkCentre C2424 ink sticks means a lower cost per page.

With a great amount of expandability and an excellent feature set, the Xerox C2424 would make a great choice for almost any size office. Small offices can upgrade as the need arises, or large offices can take advantage of the upgrades right away. The vibrant color quality of Xerox C2424 ink is impressive, and reducing waste and cutting costs is something any office would welcome.
