Samsung ML-1915 Toner Cartridges

The Samsung ML-1915 monochrome laser printer may not be the fastest or most affordable in its class, but it has a decent balance of both, and its frame is compact enough for most home and small office users. With speeds of up to 18 pages per minute, it provides decent performance, and time-saving features like AnyWeb print and Print Screen are convenient.

Users should have no trouble fitting the ML-1915 on a desktop, and the front-loading paper tray and top output tray make for easy access without adding to its footprint. The input paper capacity is 250 sheets, but it can't be upgraded. The output capacity of 80 sheets could be a bit more limiting for those who like to print a lot of pages in one batch, however, as it will require clearing the tray frequently.

Automatic duplexing is not included, but users can manually reload pages for the same effect. There are a few unique features, however. The Print Screen button on the control panel will automatically start printing what is displayed on the computer monitor. The AnyWeb Print software can help users print only the parts of a web page or multiple pages that they wish to, even organizing parts of multiple pages on a single sheet. A Toner Save button can also help reduce the amount of Samsung ML-1915 printer toner used for each page.

The starter toners that ship with the device have a yield of only 700 pages, but the standard Samsung ML-1915 toner cartridges can provide up to 1,500 pages. For those who do higher volumes of printing, the high-yield Samsung ML-1915 toner cartridges can provide up to 2,500 sheets.

The ML-1915 is a great fit for the home or small office user that wants an affordable solution for somewhat large printing volumes, but doesn't need color. Its speed and convenience features, as well as inexpensive Samsung ML-1915 toner, make it a solid value.
