Samsung ML-1450 Printer Review
Much like previous units in its series, the Samsung ML-1450 is a monochrome laser printer designed for small offices. However, unlike the ML-1440, this unit has the ability to expand and grow with growing companies, rather than limit them. The ML-1450 offers more paper capacity as well as a manual duplexer. A large office will not have its needs met by this device, but a young, growing office will benefit from the extra capacity and reliable performance.
The Samsung ML-1450 toner has the ability to reach a maximum resolution of 1200 dpi. This high of a resolution can sometimes be found in more expensive color printers, but this unit ensures the most professional black text documents possible. The initial Samsung ML-1450 toner cartridge that comes with the printer upon purchase has a maximum page yield of 3,000 pages. However, replacement printer toner cartridges can yield as many as 6,000 pages.
The model that was introduced just before this one was the ML-1440, and it had a maximum paper capacity of only 270 pages. This number proved to be rather limiting for growing offices with increasing volumes. So the ML-1450 has a standard paper tray that holds 550 sheets as well as a multipurpose tray that can hold 100 sheets of various media types. If the 650-sheet built-in capacity is not quite enough, an additional tray is sold separately that holds another 550 sheets.
This machine has a top panel that with a few navigating buttons, though the software provided pretty much handles most tasks. One button begins the TonerSave mode, which prevents over usage of Samsung ML-1450 toner. The quality of prints may go down a bit, but it will still be clear and professional while preserving printer toner. Without the TonerSave mode, replacement Samsung ML-1450 toner cartridges will be required more than necessary.

Warranty for Compatible/Remanufactured Products
Based on our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, we will accept returns of compatible or remanufactured ink and toner cartridges for full credit if the returned product has a valid return authorization number and is received in our warehouse within 6 months of the original shipping date. If there is a confirmed print quality issue, only 1 set of opened products will be accepted for credit returns, and only if less than 30% of the ink or toner has been used.
We will replace defective compatible or remanufactured products free of charge if the products are returned within 1 year of the original ship date, and provide a return shipping tag for return of the product.
