Weighing 110.2 pounds, the Ricoh Aficio SP C411dn is quite a heavy color laser printer for sure, but what it lacks in mobility, it makes up for in functions. The size is rather large too at 17.6x23.2x19.2 inches, but most offices will be able to find a space big enough for it. As far as speed goes, it is relatively quick, operating at a rate of 31 pages per minute using the Ricoh SP C411dn toner. The first page out for color and black-and-white prints are 15 seconds and 10 seconds, respectively.

On the top of the unit there is a built-in LCD screen, and wired connectivity via ethernet and USB cord are the only types offered. Using the Aficio SP C411dn toner needed for operation, resolutions of as high as 1200x1200 dpi can easily be reached. Direct printing directly from cameras via PictBridge is an additional feature, as well duplex printing. PostScript support also comes standard. Each and every month, up to 150,000 pages can be created, and up to 650 sheets of paper can fit into the paper trays at one time. The automatic document feeder can only hold 100 sheets, however.

Four Aficio SP C411dn toner cartridges are used inside of the machine, and these contain black, cyan, magenta and yellow printer toner. Each of the color toners, as well as the black Ricoh SP C411dn toner, can last about 15,000 pages before needing replaced. The cost per page when printing with Ricoh SP C411dn toner cartridges is relatively affordable.

Labels, transparencies, recycled paper, plain paper and envelopes all work in conjunction with this laser printer, and sizes of up to 8.5x14 inches are even supported. To set it up, buyers must have either Windows, Linux, Unix or Mac operating system, and drivers and utilities are included upon purchase.
