Depending on what it is you are looking for, there are various options on the market. It is virtually impossible to have a need that cannot be met by a laser printer. High-volume companies that print thousands of pages per month will want a unit that can keep up. For these kinds of users, the Okidata C9400 printer is a workhorse that will be able to handle large jobs and deliver high-quality documents in black-and-white or at rapid speeds. It is built to last for years and requires little maintenance, due to its high yielding Oki C9400 toner.

This is a color laser printer featuring four Okidata C9400 toner cartridges— cyan, magenta, yellow and black. When using the black Oki toner, as many as 26 pages can be printed every minute. Printing with color Okidata C9400 toner, as many as 21 pages per minute can be produced, which is impressive and efficient.

This unit has a massive weight of 155 pounds with the toner cartridges installed, so once it is in place, moving it around is not going to be easy. For such a hefty weight, the size of this unit is only 18.2x26.2x23.2 inches which can fit on most desk spaces. However, a cart with wheels may be a better option. This machine contains a 5 GB hard drive and has a standard page capacity of 550 sheets, but this can be upgraded to 1,650 sheets with the addition of extra paper trays.

Remanufactured Okidata C9400 toner cartridges are available from third party vendors for a discounted price, much like HP ink cartridges. These toners have the same page yield as the OEM versions at 15,000 pages. They also produce the same quality. Alternate models are available, such as the C9400n, which has built-in networking and the C9400dxn, which has networking capabilities, built-in extra trays and a duplexer. All three versions of this printer contain the same Oki C9400 toner.
