The Okidata C610 series incorporates a number of diverse models including the C610n for network connectivity, the C610cdn and C610dn that include duplexing and networking capabilities, and the C610dtn which goes further to add additional paper handling. The base model omits these features and is the least expensive as a result, offering a basic single-function design for offices. The laser printer is also relatively fast, printing color projects at a speed of 32 pages per minute and monochrome in as fast as 34 pages per minute.

The machine has a size of 13x21x17 inches that makes it rather large for a single-function device, but it should fit fine on a desktop. The front panel incorporates a monochrome LCD display that can show the levels of Okidata C610 printer toner and status reports for tasks and errors. The unit comes loaded with a memory capacity of 256 MB that can be increased to a maximum of 768 MB if needed. Paper handling can also be expanded to meet larger volumes. The standard input of 400 pages can be upgraded to a maximum of 1,460 pages with the addition of two 530-sheet input trays.

The output quality for each model in the series is reviewed well in tests, with HD color print technology and toners combining to create high-definition graphics, and photos with accurate detail. For projects using black or color Oki C610 toner, the unit can print a maximum resolution of 1200x600 dpi.

The device operates with 4 individual Okidata C610 toner cartridges and an Imaging Drum for each color. Each cyan, magenta and yellow Oki C610 toner cartridge can yield up to 6,000 pages. The black replacements can last for up to 8,000 pages.
