The Lexmark X6570 packages print, scan, copy, and fax capabilities into a compact design that will benefit small or home offices. The printer has a relatively quick output of up to 28 pages per minute for monochrome documents and 24 pages per minute for color projects. While this inkjet unit's feature set is somewhat limited due to its entry-level design, the X6570 will be a fairly versatile and cost-efficient solution for light-duty needs.

The X6570 includes a few features not often seen among printers in its price rage such as a 25-sheet automatic document feeder for continuous scanning and automatic duplexing for double-sided printing and copying. The device also incorporates versatile connectivity like a standard USB port, an ethernet interface and Wi-Fi support for printing and sharing through the office network, and memory card slots that can print photos directly from popular flash memory like CompactFlash and SD cards.

The unit's driver incorporates a basic bundle of control features and task-based troubleshooting help, as well as a few software applications for photo editing, scanning and faxing. The front panel is fairly simplistic due to its use of a monochrome LCD instead of large color display for viewing photos, but it still includes typical fixtures like a number pad for fax dialing and an LED that will notify users when Lexmark X6570 printer ink is running low.

Users have the option to replace these supplies with high-capacity Lexmark X6570 ink cartridges that can yield up to 500 pages for each color and black replacement.

There's much to like about the X6570, from its multifunction design and versatile connectivity to the inclusion of higher-end features like automatic duplexing. While there are faster and more capable models out there, this inkjet printer still offers a decent bundle of features for its price tag, and can support small or home offices with light-duty needs.
