The Lanier LD335 is a robust solution for medium offices, offering 4-in-1 functionality and a range of features capable of supporting large volumes. One such feature is its output speeds, printing the first page of a document in as fast as 4 seconds and monochrome documents at a maximum rate of 35 pages per minute. Whether it be printing or copying a document, sending a scan or receiving a fax, this monochrome laser device has the all-in-one functionality and heavy-duty features to support users trying to increase their workflow.
The LD335 provides features that enable sharing between multiple users, including a color touchscreen interface for walk-up access to navigation and control tools, and a front USB port that supports direct printing from or scanning to a personal flash drive. Users will also be able to print remotely from their mobile device with its Bluetooth connectivity, as well as remotely from computers using its ethernet interface to connect to the shared office network.
Increasing productivity with the LD335 can be achieved primarily through its media handling, which can support a generous standard supply of up to 1,050 pages. Optional media trays can be added to support larger volume needs, expanding its paper input to a maximum capacity of 3,550 pages. A handful of its optional media features are finishing trays that add professional touches to jobs, including a booklet finisher, a 3-position hole puncher and stapler.
Each function's output performance is suitable enough for internal business needs, scanning jobs with a grayscale of 256 levels and a resolution of 600 dpi, and copying jobs with a maximum resolution of 600x600 dpi using black toners. The device can print jobs with professional quality and a maximum resolution of 2400x600 using its smoothing technology and black Lanier LD335 printer toner.
This unit's print head system and use of a single black Lanier LD335 toner cartridge means that it can't support color printing, but this also helps it maintain low running costs. Since each replacement black Lanier LD335 toner cartridge can yield a maximum of 30,000 pages, even offices with high-volume printing needs won't have to replace supplies often.
The LD335's versatile control tools, ample connection options and quick output make it a powerful tool for expanding medium-sized offices. This device will be expensive to purchase, but its host of features and full multifunction design make it worth the price tag for those that want to bring one of the top monochrome printers in its class to their office.
