The HP LaserJet Pro M375 all-in-one machine was designed to handle the versatile needs of a mid-sized office environment. Wireless and wired networking capabilities are built in, meaning the unit can be shared by multiple people. There is also a USB port for direct connection to a single external device, such as a computer, but it also has a front port for loading to and from flash drives. With the ability to scan, copy, print, and fax, the M375 will conserve space and improve efficiency in an office.

There are a few alternate model numbers for this unit that represent the aforementioned features. It is alternately referred to as the M375 MFP, which stands for multifunction printer, and the M375nw, which represents the networking and wireless capabilities. This color laser printer has a 3.5" touchscreen LCD that allows users to preview and edit images loaded from a flash drive without using a PC.

When printing, it takes about 17 seconds for the first page to print, and then documents will be created at a maximum rate of 19 pages per minute. The copier operates at about the same pace, while the scanner can scan about 12 images per minute and the fax machine can receive a fax in less than 4 seconds. The overall speed of the M375 is a bit slower than many laser printers on the market, but should be sufficient in a standard office with average printing volumes.

Four colors of printer toner are used during operation, though five replacement HP M375 toner cartridges are available. The standard cyan, magenta, and yellow toners can each yield up to 2,600 pages. Standard black and high-capacity black LaserJet Pro M375 toner cartridges are available, yielding 2,200 pages and 4,000 pages, respectively. Though the replacements are not overly expensive, more affordable, compatible HP M375 toner is also available from some third-party vendors.

The paper capacity is 300 sheets with the two standard trays and 550 sheets when an optional third tray is added. Fortunately, the LaserJet Pro M375 toner can be used on various media types, such as postcards, labels, transparencies, and envelopes. Up to 150 finished documents can be held in the output tray. An automatic document feeder is built in to aid the scanning and copying functions, but duplexing can only be performed manually.

For an office with limited space and a variety of daily tasks, the M375 will be perfect. It can perform four functions within a fairly compact frame and has expandable memory and paper capacity. Replacement HP M375 toner is budget-friendly and the unit offers numerous connection options.
