The HP LaserJet 2500 is a compact color laser printer that provides excellent print quality and easy operation for a very affordable price. Its print speeds are fast, and multiple models are available to suit different needs. Affordable compatible HP 2500 toner makes it easy to save money on HP toner cartridges.

The HP 2500 is compact enough for most small office spaces. It measures 14.8 inches by 19 inches by 17.8 inches and weighs around 52 pounds. This makes it an ideal fit for an office of only a few users. The 2500N model includes ethernet networking support, the 2500TN adds extra paper capacity, and the 2500L and 2500LSE models add extra finishing and software features. The HP 2500 is discontinued and has been replaced with the HP 2600 toner printer.

Though it is small in stature, it is not small on performance. Print speed is up to 16 pages per minute for black and 4 pages per minute for color. HP's ImageREt 2400 technology improves print quality by simulating the extra sharpness of 2400 dpi printing. The 300 MHz processor and 64 MB of RAM also allow the machine to handle multiple users easily, though its smaller paper capacity makes it less suitable for a large office of many users.

Replacing toners is quick and easy. Color HP 2500 toner cartridges have a page yield of 4,000 pages. Black LaserJet 2500 toner cartridges have a capacity of 5,000 pages. Despite the compact size of the unit, the large capacity of the cartridges gives a low cost per page that keeps printing costs to a minimum. Third-party compatible LaserJet 2500 toner, which offers the same great quality, is also available at even lower prices.

With low-cost HP 2500 toner and an affordable upfront price, it is hard to go wrong with this model. It provides everything a small office needs in a laser printer without the extra bulk or expense of larger units.
