The HP Deskjet 340 (as well as its additional series models the 340cbi, 340cm and 340cv) is a single-function inkjet printer that has the convenience of portability to support the basic printing needs of those on the go. As with many mobile units, the 340 isn't known for its quick speeds, printing a maximum of only 3 pages per minute for monochrome and color documents. While it doesn't have ample media handling, a variety of connections, or long-lasting Deskjet 340 printer ink, buyers that don't mind trading in versatility for the usefulness of a travelling printing will benefit from this device.
The 349 isn't the smallest in its class, but it weighs only 5 pounds and has a moderately compact size of 12x3x5 inches that enables it to handle desktop printing and occasional transportaion. The inkjet printer is compatible with Mac and Windows operating systems and offers a wireless and a wired connection for PC printing. Along with its provided power adapter, the device has its own source of battery power to make it totally portable.
The machine comes with a 30-sheet automatic document feeder that can support media like labels, plain paper, photo paper and transparencies. With the use of its Resolution Enhancement technology, it can emulate higher resolutions for smoother lines and sharper text. Photos, graphics and text documents print with a satisfactory output and a maximum resolution of 600x300 dpi using HP 340 printer ink.
The unit comes with a Color Kit that includes one tricolor HP 340 ink cartridge and a storage container, as well as a mobile black Deskjet 340 ink supply that can last up to 750 pages. Each replacement tricolor HP 340 ink cartridge can last up to 640 pages.
As far as mobile printers go, the 340 is neither the quickest nor the most compact and will primarily be suitable as a desktop device. However, it has a low price tag, an automatic document feeder and can still be tucked into a bag for the occasional business trip.

Products eligible for quantity discounts can be tabulates as follows: Count all compatible and remanufactured ink or toner cartridges, plus individual item quantities in bundle.

Warranty for Compatible/Remanufactured Products
Based on our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, Ink Technologies will accept returns of compatible or remanufactured ink and toner cartridges for full credit if the returned product has a valid return authorization number and is received in our warehouse within 6 months of the original shipping date. If there is a confirmed print quality issue, only 1 set of opened products will be accepted for credit returns, and only if less than 30% of the ink or toner has been used.
Ink Technologies will replace defective compatible or remanufactured products free of charge if the products are returned within 1 year of the original ship date, and provide a return shipping tag for return of the product.
