The HP DesignJet 5500 and 5500ps are large-format inkjet printers that have an impressive range of media handling capabilities to support a variety of different projects. Buyers should keep in mind that while the series offers a degree of flexibility, slow speeds of up to 7 minutes for projects on glossy paper and around a minute and a half on coated paper may be a tad slow for busy environments.
This large-format unit's media handling surpasses comparable devices in versatility, accepting rolls with a maximum size of 60 inches wide and 300 feet long. Supported types range from media like imaging film, glossy photo paper and heavy-weight coated paper, to vellum paper, satin paper, canvas paper and vinyl. Additional features such as an automatic roll feed, take-up paper reel and automatic sheet cutter are useful for printing continuously and finishing projects with a professional edge. Being a large-format printer, the unit is fairly bulky, measuring 50.4x95.7x26.4 inches and weighing 264 pounds.

Warranty for Compatible/Remanufactured Products
Based on our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, we will accept returns of compatible or remanufactured ink and toner cartridges for full credit if the returned product has a valid return authorization number and is received in our warehouse within 6 months of the original shipping date. If there is a confirmed print quality issue, only 1 set of opened products will be accepted for credit returns, and only if less than 30% of the ink or toner has been used.
We will replace defective compatible or remanufactured products free of charge if the products are returned within 1 year of the original ship date, and provide a return shipping tag for return of the product.
