The HP Business Inkjet 2600 is a color ink cartridge printer that offers similar speeds and high-volume outputs as a laser printer, but does so without the high cost. The 2600's design should be compact enough for all but the smallest office spaces. It measures 11.1 inches by 28.5 inches by 22.4 inches, and it weighs just 39.7 pounds with the HP ink cartridges. It connects via USB, but networking is available as an upgrade, as is automatic duplexing. The 2600dn model comes with both of these features included out of the box for more convenience.

The machine can handle a wide variety of media types, including envelopes, glossy paper, coated paper, transparencies, photo paper and more. It also supports some larger formats, up to a maximum of 13x19 inches, making it much more flexible than a typical consumer inkjet model. Print speed is fast at up to 15 pages per minute for black and up to 5.5 pages per minute for color. The 1200x600 dpi printing engine produces very sharp and detailed prints.

The large capacity of Business Inkjet 2600 ink cartridges also contributes to a low cost per page that makes it a very economical choice. Using third-party compatible Business Inkjet 2600 ink will save money over the more expensive OEM versions.

For the small office that needs more than a consumer model, like the HP C4795 ink printer, but doesn't have the budget for a high-end model, the HP Business Inkjet 2600 finds a nice middle ground. Its affordable price and the low cost of HP 2600 ink make it a great buy for those on a tight budget.
