New Remanufactured HP 61XL Black Ink Cartridge Instructional Video Transcript
The 61XL Black cartridge offers more than double the yield of the standard replacement, at up to 480 pages. This makes it the more cost-effective choice, yet its compact size and weight still make it easy to install and to store.
Before you install the 61XL Black cartridge, start by removing it from the box and carefully removing the plastic bag. Press downward on the top handle of the plastic protector as you pry it away from the cartridge. Right before installation, you must also remove the tape at the bottom.
Starting with the printer plugged in and powered on, open the access cover, lifting it up carefully. The cover will stay in place and the cartridge carrier will move toward the center on its own.
The right side contains the black cartridge. Lift the small cover to access the empty HP 61XL cartridge, then pull it up out of the opening.
Slide the replacement 61XL cartridge into the printer, then lower the small cover into place. Once it is firmly seated, lower the main access cover of the printer as well, and you are ready to resume printing.
The 61XL Black cartridge works with a long list of printer models, mainly including the Deskjet 1000 series, the 2000 series, and the 3000 series of printers. It is also compatible with the ENVY 4500 series, and the ENVY 5530 series.

OEM (brand name) cartridges are provided by the manufacturer of the printer, such as HP, Dell or Brother. Pricing for brand name cartridges is frequently much higher than for non-brand cartridges, typically ranging from 2–5 times higher.

Based on our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, we will accept returns of compatible or remanufactured ink and toner cartridges for full credit if the returned product has a valid return authorization number and is received in our warehouse within 6 months of the original shipping date. If there is a confirmed print quality issue, only 1 set of opened products will be accepted for credit returns, and only if less than 30% of the ink or toner has been used.
We will replace defective compatible or remanufactured products free of charge if the products are returned within 1 year of the original ship date, and provide a return shipping tag for return of the product.
