With a futuristic and sleek design, the Dell All-In-One V505w (also known simply as the V505) is ideal for a home office, but could also be an excellent addition to a low-volume small office. It has built-in Wi-Fi capabilities and can easily be added to a wireless network so multiple users can share it. It also offers a standard USB connection (for a single PC), memory card slots, and a PictBridge port (for digital cameras). Windows and Linux platforms are supported, but Mac users are left out.

Typically, inkjet printers are not known for speed, but rather impressive colors and flawless pictures. However, the V505w changes the game, bringing an output rate of 31 black-and-white pages per minute and up to 27 color pages per minute. This speed rivals many entry-level laser printers. Faxes can be received in about 5 seconds and documents are scanned quickly and accurately.

The 48-bit flatbed scanner has an optical resolution of 1200x1200 dpi and offers an automatic document feeder that will speed up the pace of multi-page scanning tasks. When making copies, users have the option of resizing the image from 25% to 400% of the original size. Faxes can easily be forwarded and Caller ID is built-in to protect users from unwanted contact.

Its lack of expandability may limit growing offices, but its versatility should help users save space and time.
