Canon D860 Printer Review

If you're looking for a monochrome laser printer for the home or small office, don't rule out the Canon D860. With a compact footprint of 24.5x17.4x15.1 inches, it won't take up too much room in whatever environment you need it for. The D860 can be connected via USB cord or parallel port; however, neither come with the machine upon purchase. For those with Mac operating systems, you will have to look somewhere else for an affordable all in one, though—the Canon D860 is only compatible with Windows.

This unit has the ability to print and copy using one imageCLASS D860 toner cartridge, but scanning capability is not offered. It weighs 52.9 pounds, which is kind of hefty, but it will still be easy enough for one to two people to move around.

The printer can print out up to 16 pages per minute using the Canon D860 toner, and resolutions of up to 2400x600 dpi are possible using the toner. If copying, up to 18 copies can be made per minute with imageCLASS D860 toner. Like most toners on the market, remanufactured versions of Canon D860 toner are available.

The majority of users tend to really love their product, the Canon D860. Its high quality output using Canon D860 toner is by far the most highly rated feature. The fast print speeds are also highly reviewed, as well as the durability and reliability. It is known for ease of setup and use, and its small footprint makes it easy to store, according to users. Users also find it to be versatile to fit many needs too. One negative about this unit is that it is not compatible with Mac operating systems. Buyers also dislike that it comes without a scanner. For the most part, though, users love the Canon D860.
