Popular Brother Toner Printer Models

Brother focuses on business oriented devices and products, such as laser printers and toner cartridge technology. Brother produces a wide range of high quality, low-priced printers and toners for the home or workplace. Brother monochrome printers can print up to 35 pages per minute, feature a Brother toner-save mode that reduces printer toner consumption, and also won the 2009 PC Magazine Readers' Choice Award for reliability. Brother color laser printers bring low cost and reliability to your home or office. They print up to 21 pages per minute, feature high-speed auto-duplexing, and use high quality, high yield Brother toner cartridges. Brother laser multi-function copiers can print and copy up to 32 pages per minute, feature stand-alone copying and scanning, and are Windows, Mac, and network compatible.

Brother uses mostly laser printing technology which causes fewer maintenance issues since there are no moving parts aside from the image drum. Laser printers place color toner on each page with a single pass, so color documents print faster. In addition to offering high quality, reliable, affordable printers, you'll continue to save money on each Brother toner cartridge due to their high yielding capacity. For business owners, having to replace your toner cartridges less often will lower your cost per copy as well as your bottom line.

Brother started in 1908, as Yasui Sewing Machine Company in Nagoya, Japan with Kanekichi Yasui, a part-time machine repairman, a far cry from today's production of printers and Brother toner cartridges. He turned it into a successful full-time career for the next 17 years. Upon his death in 1925, two of Kanekichi's 10 children take over their father's business and rename it the Yasui Brothers' Company. In 1927, the brothers' introduced to the market the very first "Made in Japan" machine, taking on the "Made in the USA" giant, Singer. As they took on the competition, the brothers' considered changing the name of the company to "Sister" since mostly women used their products, but they had already established an identity and registered the name, so they decided to stick with "Brother" instead. By 1934, Singer was feeling the heat and one of their top salesmen crossed over to partner with the Yasui brothers in order to create the Nippon Sewing Machine Manufacturing Company. In 1954, the growing company decided to take on their main competition on its home turf in the U.S. and eventually changed the name to the Brother International Corporation and opened sales locations around the world. From that point on Brother expanded into other areas of production, including developing the first high-speed dot-matrix printer in 1971, the electronic typewriter in 1985 and eventually laser printers and Brother toner cartridges.

Brother has established itself as a leading producer of high quality, lower cost device into the world of printers, fax machines, and label makers. Their reputation for reliability at an affordable price is unmatched when looking for high quality laser printers and Brother toner cartridges.
