The Brother Intellifax 2920 is a monochrome laser fax machine with multifunction capabilities, designed for the small office user. It has copy and print functions that add value to an already solid fax machine. If a multifunction printer is needed that also allows for flat-bed scanning, the Brother MFC-9420 toner printer is an excellent choice.

Many office environments are beginning to switch to multifunction machines to fit their needs. The printer is shipped with a starter Brother 2920 toner cartridge with a 1,500 page yield. The replacement Brother 2920 toner cartridge has a capacity of 2,500 pages, which is much more economical. Purchasing compatible toner cartridges online will bring per-page costs down even more.

Overall, the Brother Intellifax 2920 is a solid fax machine with all the features one would need. The fact that it comes with multifunction features is icing on the cake, but users who don't need the extra features may find the price is too high and look elsewhere for a more basic fax machine.
