The Xerox Phaser 3210 is an excellent monochrome laser printer for home and small offices. However, if you need color printing capability, Xerox ink
printers are superior to the competitions laser technology. The 3210's dimensions of 13x13.7x8.8 inches make it very small and easy to place anywhere in the office. It also has a very lightweight of 14.3 pounds with the laser toner
installed, which makes it very easy to move around. This machine is pretty portable, and if you need to take it from location to location, that will be very easy to do. It sadly doesn't offer wireless connection, so parallel and USB connections are used instead. This may be limiting to some offices, but for the most part, these two types of connection will be more than enough. It comes standard with 4 MB of memory, but that can be upgraded all the way up to 68 MB if needed.
Plain paper, envelopes, plain paper and labels are all printable using the Xerox 3210 toner cartridges. The only Phaser 3210 toner needed is a black Xerox toner
that can yield 3,000 pages before it expires. That will last you awhile, but when you do need replacements, the toners are quite inexpensive compared to others on the market. Using the Xerox 3210 toner, resolutions as high as 1200x1200 dpi are possible, and up to 17 pages per minute are possible as well.
Though the Phaser 3210 toner cartridges aren't very expensive, if the machine is used to its maximum capacity the printer toner may need to be replaced up to 5 times each month—that could get quite pricey. A higher volume printer like the Xerox 6180 toner
printer may be needed. The only way to afford the 3210 would be to buy remanufactured replacement Xerox 3210 toner is available from third party vendors. Though these cost a lot less than the OEM toner cartridges
, they work just as well. These toners can reach the same high resolutions and yield the same number of pages, making the Phaser not only a smart buy but an economic buy as well.
