The Lexmark C760 is a color laser printer designed for small to large offices. It has available upgrades and different variations that make it a solid single-purpose wired unit for a limited work environment or a high capacity powerhouse for a large office space with multiple people. The C760 is the base model, while the C760n includes networking capabilities, the C760d has automatic duplex printing and the C760 has finishing options such as sorting and stapling. There are also different combinations like the C760dn that has both networking and a duplexer.
Four Lexmark C760 toner cartridges are needed for operation. These toners are cyan, magenta, yellow and black and the standard capacity is 6,000 pages. However, for the large workgroups, high capacity Lexmark C760 toner cartridges can be purchased that yield up to 15,000 pages each. Unfortunately, the manufacturer's price is somewhat expensive, and it may surpass the budget for some users. Compatible discount Lexmark toner
is not available which could save a user a considerable amount of money.
The 500 MHz processor allows this laser printer to print 20-25 pages per minute in black or in color. There is a built-in memory of 128 MB, but this can be upgraded to 512 MB to appease the needs of growing businesses. The base unit is connected via USB and parallel ports, and it compatible with most major operating systems. The page capacity is 600 sheets, which consists of a 500-sheet main tray and a 100-sheet multi-purpose tray.
Once the C752 is installed, moving it around may not be so easy considering it weighs over 100 pounds. However, its frame is not overly large, so it should fit comfortably no matter how spacious the office is.
