HP D7260 Printer Information
With impressive features such as automatic red-eye removal and memory card slots for loading images without using a computer, the HP Photosmart D7260 is a perfect personal photo printer. It is light in weight and compact in size, so users will be able to move it easily and store it without taking up too much space. Compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems, the D7260 is a breeze to set up.
In addition to slots for memory cards, this machine has a USB port, ethernet interface, and PictBridge capabilities, which allows for a digital camera to be plugged directly into it. There is a 3.5-inch LCD screen that is touchscreen enabled, allowing images to be previewed, edited, saved, shared, and printed with no computer needed. This display also gives users the opportunity to explore settings, change print modes and media types, and identify the level of remaining HP D7260 ink.
For an inkjet photo printer, the D7260 is surprisingly fast. For basic black-and-white documents, up to 32 pages per minute can be printed, and that speed slows to only 31 pages per minute when color Photosmart D7260 ink is thrown into the mix. A 4x6-inch photo can print in less than 15 seconds in Fast mode, but to reach the optimal quality, images should be printed in Best mode. Best mode calls for more dots of HP D7260 printer ink to be applied per inch, creating a maximum resolution of 4800x1200 dpi.
In a 6-color printer ink system, pictures will come out with true-to-life color and accuracy as the spectrum of colors that can be created expands exponentially from a 4-color system. Cyan, magenta, yellow, black, light cyan, and light magenta are the six HP D7260 ink cartridges used in this machine. As per usual with inkjet printers, the supplies do not yield a lot of pages, so frequent printing may mean excessive operational costs. Fortunately, third-party vendors offer remanufactured Photosmart D7260 ink cartridges for half the cost of OEM versions.
This photo printer is not meant to be used as an office printer, but rather to allow users to print pictures of important moments, right at home. The HP Photosmart D7260 creates lab-quality, borderless photos quickly and affordably.
