HP 8250 Printer Information
Inkjet printers are easy to find, but every single one is different. The HP Photosmart 8250, for instance, is a printer that will offer versatile at-home standard printing and photo printing. Though it lacks faxing, copying and scanning that many newer machines come standard with, it creates more high quality photos than most printers on the market. Many media types such as transparencies, plain paper, envelopes, photo paper and cards are all supported. Even iron-on transfers can be printed on. Many sizes are compatible as well, such as executive, letter and legal. The HP 8250 is compatible with Mac and Windows operating systems, which should cover most potential buyers.
This inkjet printer uses six Photosmart 8250 ink cartridges. There is one black printer ink, and then five color HP 8250 ink cartridges. The five are filled with cyan, magenta, yellow, light cyan and light magenta printer ink. The black tank yields 660 pages, while the regular color tanks yield 400 pages. The light colors yield 240 pages. Using individual HP 8250 ink cartridges for each color saves money and prevents waste because when a color runs out, that is the only color you need to replace.
Though the HP 8250 ink has relatively low page capacities compared to similar ones on the market, they are more affordable than most as well. If you do print at high volumes, though, this particular machine could cost a lot of money if you don't purchase remanufactured versions of Photosmart 8520 ink. At only a fraction of the price, the same high quality results and resolutions can be reached. Remanufactured HP 8250 ink is an inexpensive solution to maintaining this unit and keeping your printing needs met.
With a compact size of 17.6x15.2x6.3 inches and a light weight of 18.7 pounds, the HP 8250 cannot only fit in any home, but it will be easy to bring on the road, too.
