Canon PC921 Printer Information
Let's say you are out searching for a new copier for your small office. You know you need something compact, because space is limited and the fax machine already takes up too much room. You need something that is efficient enough to keep up with your office's speeds, but no one copies too exuberantly or that often, so that's not a hard requirement. You only make black-and-white copies, and usually these documents are completely text; however, a graphic logo might come through every once in awhile. Does this sound like you or your needs? If so, you need to consider the Canon PC921, because it will not disappoint.
This machine will fit nearly anywhere around the office with its 17.63x11.75x19.63 inch size. Its weight is a little heavy, though. Offering black-and-white copies, it only uses one Canon PC921 toner cartridge. This is full of black printer toner, and it can last up to 4,000 pages before you need to replace it. If the yield on the Canon PC921 toner cartridges doesn't impress you much, it should—toners for small machines like this don't tend to last this long.
Its speeds are decent at 10 pages per minute using Canon PC921 toner, however, they aren't impressive. There are many other models on the market that will easily surpass these speeds, but those might not be able to exert the same high quality print after print. If quality is more important than speed to you, then the PC921 will suit you just fine.
The only real downfall of this machine may be its lack of an automatic document feeder. Its affordable upfront price and inexpensive Canon PC921 toner may make up for that though, and it can reduce and enlarge documents from 70%-141% of their original size in 1% increments.
