Canon PC735 Printer Information
The Canon PC735 is a personal copy machine that uses laser technology and a RAPID Fusing System to produce accurate duplicates with precision and efficiency. This machine is compact enough to fit comfortably on a table, measuring only 19x17x11 inches, yet may require two people to carry, with a weight of 44 pounds. Small or home office users will appreciate the simplicity of this machine, as well as its reliability.
The aforementioned RAPID Fusing System, which is a trademark of Canon, allows copies to be generated as soon as the machine is turned on, requiring no warm-up time whatsoever. The first document will begin printing only 10 seconds after the initial order is sent, and as many as 10 pages per minute can be produced after that. That equates to approximately 6 seconds per copy.
As many as 4,000 pages can be printed with each Canon PC735 toner cartridge, minimizing the overall cost per page. Remanufactured toners are also available from third-party vendors, and can reduce costs even more. Conveniently, the drum and developer, which will require replacing after some wear and tear, are built into the Canon PC735 toner cartridge, so maintenance needs are limited.
When it comes to design, the PC735 is fairly basic, with a square frame, a front-loading paper drawer that pulls out from the bottom (and holds 250 sheets), and a standard output tray sticking out the side. There is a lid on the top that covers the flatbed scanning surface and a simple control panel that allows users to change settings, including image reduction or enlargement and quantity of duplicates (up to a maximum of 100 from an original). It is recommended to make less than 1,500 copies per month, meaning the Canon PC735 toner should last for quite some time.
Though it lacks some of the attractive features that many office devices have these days, the simplicity of this laser printer is appealing to many consumers. The convenient design and affordable price of the compatible Canon PC735 printer toner will prevent maintenance from becoming a headache.
