Paper Straw Arrows
If you want to keep things literal on Valentine's Day, these Paper Straw Arrows are the perfect way to ignite Cupid's passions. For any little gift, whether it's chocolates, some kind of electronic device, or even a ring, the packaging needs to match. That's where these vibrant paper straw arrows come in.
Better yet is that they're easy to make. As the crafter explains, "You will need some fun patterned, color paper straws, an assortment of scrapbook papers, a heart punch, and a glue gun." The rest just involves a little bit of assembly and a knack for mixing different colors and patterns. What else could you want (except possibly to make as many of these arrows as you can)?

Love Is A Coupon Away
You've probably heard the phrase "money can't buy happiness," but it's absolutely true coupons can buy romantic moments. One of our favorite Valentine's Day gifts is a love coupon book. Why do we like it so much? By creating unique experiences between you and your significant other, you have a gift that keeps on giving, long beyond February 14th.
If you click the link above, you'll be directed to a site where you can print out the coupons for free. You'll just need some thicker cardstock, a hole punch, double sided adhesive tape, a metal o-ring to bind the materials together, and some twine. You can create events like "a romantic stroll" and you can set the coupons to never expire!

A Rustic Photo Holder
Okay, we'll freely admit this isn't the easiest DIY thing to make, but the end result is a truly unique gift both of you can enjoy. What gets us so excited? This rustic DIY photo holder, which combines our love of photography and also uses an item you can easily find in nature. Upcycling is all the rage these days!
The first thing you'll need is a log, about 4-5 inches. If you live in a wooded area, this might be the easiest part. If you live in a tropical region (like Miami), you might need to go to a local hardware or lumber store to find the perfect log. Using a handsaw and wood burning tool, you can etch whatever message you want onto the front of the wood. A great example would be including your first initials like "N+S" and putting them inside of a heart.
