It's that time of year where we start to reflect on all that we've accomplished in 2014 and all that we wish we had gotten done. Out of these reflections come our 2015 resolutions. While it's often true we don't follow through on these resolutions too far into the new year, it doesn't mean they're hopeless. We have a few tech-focused ideas that can be implemented easily and another general suggestion for staying on track with major creative goals. What are you waiting for?

Get More Secure Online
The recent Sony email hack has gotten us more concerned about online privacy and security than ever before. 2015 should be a year to realize that what you do and say online might not be secure as you think, unless of course you take steps to better encrypt what you send through email, text messages, and social media.
It doesn't a bit difficult, right? Think again. FastCompany has a list of 5 apps to protect your online privacy. TextSecure, for example, encrypts all of your text messages in a password protected database, so if your phone is stolen, the messages can't be accessed. ChatSecure can help encrypt conversations you have through Facebook's messaging app. And all of the options just involve simple downloads.

Download Organizational Apps
We know we've suggested organizational apps before, but these five free apps are ones we've never seen before. And, oh, do they look great! They cover everything from paying bills on time to managing that overfilled email inbox.
The first one, called Sunrise Calendar, might actually make calendering fun, whether it's on your mobile device or desktop. You can even pull birthday reminders directly from Facebook, integrate weather forecasts so you're always sure to pack that umbrella, or you can just type events and the app will parse your meaning. We're also a huge fan of Mint Bills because keeping finances in order can be a real challenge.

Turn Your Dreams Into Realities
If you have a big idea you want to implement in 2015, it might be difficult to figure out how you're going to make that a reality. Maybe you want to start your own business or you plan on making a major career shift. These goals might seem unattainable but if you follow 5 solutions from Entrepreneur Magazine, you will be able to achieve actionable results.
What are some of their major suggestions? First is writing down goals and giving them a deadline. Be sure to say things like, "By February 1st, I'll draft a comprehensive business plan." Next is to invent others who passionate about your idea to help support you. Often times you can't achieve a big goal on your own. Be sure to check out the full list of ideas and get brainstorming today.
