Though it is one of the quieter laser printers on the market, it also features a quiet mode that silences the machine completely, although this also slows down the print speed.

An Easy-To-Use Interface

In addition, the HP LaserJet Pro P1606dn’s interface design is refreshingly simple. Instead of a status display, three small LED indicators notify you if the printer is ready, if there's a problem such as a paper jam, or if the toner is running low. Along with this, there are two buttons -- one marked “Go” which enables the beginning and continuation of print jobs, and another for aborting jobs if need be. The output tray holds 125 sheets, the input tray has the capacity for 250 sheets, and above it, there is a priority tray that can hold ten sheets or envelopes.
